Firefighters are battling a major fire at a garage in South Lanarkshire.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said it was called to a “well-developed” fire on Bothwell Road in Uddingston just after 6pm.
Footage on social media showed large plumes of smoke billowing from the building.
Six appliances, along with one high-reach vehicle, were sent to the scene on Monday evening, the SFRS said.
No casualties were reported.
Police Scotland said Bothwell Road is closed in both directions at Main Street, Douglas Gardens and Old Glasgow Road. Local diversions are in place.
Members of the public are asked to avoid the area.
