A Scottish actor and his pals have weighed in on how Scotland can secure a win against Morocco on June 19.
Craig Clelland, who featured on Outlander, River City, Crime Lord and Mortem, was speaking in Boston as he and his friends enjoyed a kickabout on Sunday.
Clelland, 37, of Glasgow, attended the Scotland v Haiti match on Saturday and said, that despite his team’s victory, they need to up the standard to win against the African nation.

He said: “We were at the game last night – what an atmosphere it was.
“Shout out to the Tartan Army, who were unbelievable, and shout out to both teams.
“The atmosphere was great, the energy was good, but what I will say is that Scotland needs to up the game a wee bit, we’re at the World Cup which is a once in a 20-something year opportunity, with the last time being in 1998.
“The players did well last night to get the win, and we need to keep that momentum going. The Tartan Army are here to support that team, and we’re going to do it, boys, we’re going to do it!”

Clelland’s friend Stuart Armit, 39, said: “I thought we were nervous last night. I thought we should have tried to attack more but you now what? A win is a win, we got three points, and now we need to take that to Morocco.”
Ali Gregor, 37, who is also a friend of Clelland, added: “After watching Morocco yesterday I’m not so sure.
“Last night was good, not the best performance, but it was all right. Three points is the main thing, so we should take that and do it again.”
